FAQ

  • Permanent jewellery is a custom-fitted bracelet, anklet, or necklace that is seamlessly welded in place, meaning there’s no clasp.
    It’s lightweight, comfortable, and designed to be worn every day as a lasting keepsake.

  • We currently offer sterling silver and 14k gold-filled chains, and can take custom orders for those wanting the premium option of solid gold.

    What is gold filled? A high-quality, durable alternative to solid gold, gold-filled jewellery consists of a thick layer of 14k gold bonded to a base metal. Unlike gold plating, it won’t easily wear off, tarnish, or fade, making it a great long-lasting option at a much more affordable price than solid gold.

  • While designed for everyday wear, permanent jewellery isn’t strictly infinite - it can be removed if needed, and like any fine chain it could break.

    Need to take it off right now?
    Easy, just snip it with sharp scissors. We can re-weld it later if you keep your chain!

    Getting an MRI, surgery or need it off for another reason?
    Come and visit us for a free removal - we can do this in a way that re-welding it will be as seamless as when it was brand new.

    What if it breaks?
    If it breaks at the weld, we’ll fix it for free!
    Breaks elsewhere can be repaired by adding in a new connector for the small re-weld fee of $30

    Want a removable option?
    We can still add the standard connector but not weld it, or for an additional fee we can add a small clasp :)

    What about airport security?
    You will not need to remove this and it will not set off scanners - so you can travel worry free!

  • Not at all! The welding process is quick, painless, and does not touch your skin.

  • If you have a metal allergy, work in an industry that requires jewellery removal, or prefer the flexibility of taking your jewellery on and off, permanent jewellery may not be the best option for you.

    Due to the welding process, it is not recommended for those with a pacemaker.

  • We recommend permanent jewellery for ages 10 to 110!

    Parental consent is required for anyone under 16.

    Younger or older? We’re happy to assess on a case-by-case basis - just as long as you can sit still long enough for a little spark of magic ✨

    (seriously tho - it’s being welded on, you need to sit still)
