Welcome to Salem!

Established in 2014, Salem has grown into a busy, well loved salon specialising in hair and beauty. For over 10 years, we’ve focused on doing things properly and making sure every client leaves feeling looked after.

Over the years, we’ve grown beyond just hair, adding beauty services in salon, and more recently creating I Love Your Hair, an online store with a wider range of products, including our own line and all of the brands we use and recommend every day.

It might sound a bit lame, but we hold ourselves to something we call The Salem Standard, expert skill, service, and satisfaction.

Skill - Our team is highly trained and always learning. We keep up with new techniques, but always draw from the classics so you’re getting results that actually work for you, not just what’s trending.

Service - We take the time to listen, give honest advice, and tailor each appointment to your needs.

Satisfaction - You should walk out feeling confident and happy with your hair. That’s the goal every single time, and if we didn’t quite nail it, let us know and we’ll do everything we can to make it right.

Our wonderful clients will tell you the difference is in how it feels to be here: friendly, down to earth, and easy to settle into.
Some people come in for a good chat, others just want to switch off or get some work done, and both are completely welcome! A quiet appointment is always an option, no need to explain yourself, it’s a space where you can feel comfortable, be listened to, and leave with a look you love.
